Preposition for time (in, on, at, to)

Preposition for place (in, on, at,)

Preposition for direction (to, through, into)

Preposition	Example
To Kku ക്ക്/  lekku ലേക്ക്	I am going to Chennai Njaan chennaikku pokunnu ഞാൻ ചെന്നയ്ക്ക് പോകുന്നു Or Njaan chennaiyilekku pokunnu ഞാൻ ചെന്നയിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നു
Through Yil koodi ൽ കൂടി	I am going through hard time Njaan valare budhimuttil koodi kadannu povukayaanu. ഞാൻ വളരെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിൽ കൂടി കടന്നു പോവുകയാണ്  I can see you through the window Enikk ningale janaalayil koodi kaanan kazhiyum. എനിക്ക് നിങ്ങളെ ജനാലയിൽ കൂടി കാണാൻ കഴിയും.
Into lekku ലേക്ക് il ൽ ullil ഉള്ളിൽ	He ran into the street Ayaal theruvilekku oodi അയാൾ തെരുവിലേക്ക് ഓടി Get into the car Caril kayaru കാറിൽ കയറ് Look into the box Boxinullil nokku ബോക്സിനുള്ളിൽ നോക്ക്
